About Arts and Crafts - Mission Lamp Shades
The Arts and Crafts – Mission style of lamp shades is one of our customer’s favorite looks. The style emerged in the late 19th century as a reaction to mass produced, industrial quality home furnishings. In opposition to this, Arts and Crafts furnishings, and the later Mission style that emerged in America, emphasized an organic line and pattern, earth-tone colors, and a warm, natural feel.
